Donna Brazile Drops ANOTHER Nuke – This Time on Barack Hussein Obama

Former interim chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Donna Brazile describes how former President Barack Obama “leeched it of its vitality” leading up to the 2016 election campaign, in her new book, “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House.”
“We had three Democratic parties: The party of Barack Obama, the party of Hillary Clinton, and this weak little vestige of a party led by Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz that was doing a very poor job getting people who were not president elected,” Brazile writes.
Brazile talks about the massive debt the Democratic party was left to deal with at the end of Obama’s time in office and what it had to do to stay afloat during the national presidential race. Obama used party funding for focus groups and private pollsters which all but bankrupted the party.

Wasserman Schultz alledgedly failed to deal with the problem as party chairwoman, so Clinton seized the opportunity to bail the party out financially in order to gain complete control of it, according to Brazile.
“This was not working to strengthen the party. He left it in debt. Hillary bailed it out so that she could control it, and Debbie went along with all of this because she liked the power and perks of being a chair but not the responsibilities,” Brazile said.

On ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos, Brazile referred to Clinton’s control of the party as the “high command of Brooklyn,” because almost all decisions within the Democratic party had to run through Clinton’s headquarters in Brooklyn, New York.
Although Brazile stated that Obama, Clinton and Wasserman Schultz loved the Democratic party, they “leeched it of it’s vitality and were continuing to do so.”

“As I saw it, these three titanic egos–Barack, Hillary, and Debbie–had stripped the party to a shell for their own purposes,” Brazile wrote.
